Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is made up of actors, as is she, herself pursuing both careers. When she was nine she made her feature film debut alongside Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. She had a leading role as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo which was released in 1989. Trauma (1996) as well as The Stendhal Syndrome are other films she has collaborated on with her renowned father. In 2002, she starred as Jean-Marc Barr's co-star in The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) as well as Vin Diesel was the star of Rob Cohen's thriller action The Action.
